Afghan finished!

New Wine Bottle

Well, I finally got around to lighting and decorating my third wine bottle.

The Calico Mouse

Well, I finally gave in and joined the blog world.

I’m working on building a handmade craft business and thought maybe it would help to tell the world about it.

I love to create things!  I’ve been dabbling in one sort of craft or another for 40-some odd years.  No, I’m not saying how old I am, lets just say I started at a young age.

I’ve sewn, knitted, crocheted, embroidered, cross-stitched to name a few.  A few years ago I started making my own candles and then branched out into homemade soap – not the melt and pour kind, but natural soap made from oils and lye.

I’ve recently purchased an new sewing machine – one of those ones that do embroidery.  I’m working on a lot of free-standing lace, and have quite a few wonderful soft and warm scarves knitted.
